Terms of service
Last updated November 7, 2026.
The Amp Distillery (ampdistillery.com) is run by Abyssal Audio LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
What the service does
You upload Neural Amp Modeler (.nam) models and DI recordings. We train a new model from them on rented GPUs and let you download the result. Training is paid for with credits.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use the service, and the details you sign in with must be yours.
- One account per person. Free credits are given once per person; making extra accounts to get them again is not allowed.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.
What you upload
- Only upload files you made or have the right to use for this purpose. Many published models have licences; following them is your responsibility.
- You keep all rights to your uploads and to the models trained from them. You give us only the permission we need to store and process them to run the service for you.
- We don't use your files to train anything for ourselves or anyone else, and we don't share them.
- We may remove files and close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that abuse the service (for example, attempts to break it or to use it for something other than training amp models).
Credits
- A run costs 1 credit per training step plus 1,000 credits per model in the blend. Credits are held when you start a run; steps you don't use, and the whole hold for runs that fail, come back.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and don't expire while your account is open. Refunds of purchases are covered by the refund policy.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record and handles tax and receipts.
Results and availability
Training is statistical: we can't promise a model will sound the way you want, or match any amp. We try to keep the service running but can't promise it always will, or that a run starts at once. Outputs are kept for 30 days after a run finishes; download what you want to keep.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the account page (once no run is training). We may change these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Texas. If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you the protection of its own consumer law, or the right to bring a claim in your local courts, this clause doesn't take that away.
