Privacy policy

This explains what The Amp Distillery (run by Abyssal Audio LLC) stores about you, why, who processes it for us, and how long we keep it. Questions: [email protected].
What we store
- Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account id they give us plus any name or profile picture they share. With Apple you can use a private relay address.
- Your files: the .nam models and DI recordings you upload, and the models, previews and reports your runs produce.
- Runs and credits: run settings and progress, and a history of credits granted, bought, held, returned and spent.
- Payments: the order records Lemon Squeezy sends us (order id, product, amount, status, name and email). We never see or store card details.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and request logs, used for security and rate limiting, kept for up to 30 days.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your sign-in session in your browser.
How long we keep it
- Uploads: until you delete them, or your account.
- Run outputs (models, previews): 30 days after the run finishes. Partial files from runs that fail or are cancelled: one day.
- Run records: until you delete your account.
- Credit history and payment records: kept after account deletion for as long as tax and accounting law requires. The credit history is detached from your account; the payment records keep the order details Lemon Squeezy sent, including the name and email address on the order.
- A one-way hash of your email address, kept after deletion so the free credits can't be claimed twice by the same address.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- RunPod: the GPUs that train your runs. Workers download your files for a run and upload the result. A worker may keep a temporary cache of rendered audio between runs to save time; it isn't linked to your account and is wiped when the worker shuts down.
- Lemon Squeezy: payments, tax and receipts, as merchant of record.
- Amazon Web Services: hosts our server, which sees IP addresses and request logs.
- Cloudflare: DNS, network protection, and visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies).
- Resend: sends our sign-in links and codes.
- Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them.
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own data-protection terms. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires.
Your rights
You can see what we hold on the account page, download your models and delete uploads in the app, and delete your account from the account page at any time (once no run is training). For a copy of your data, a correction, or any other request (including under GDPR or CCPA), email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site or by email first.
